Evan went to the park and saw 4 animals. Each animal was either a duck or dog. If he saw a total of 14 legs. How many of each animal did he see?

So dogs have 4 legs, ducks have 2

If three dogs have 12 legs, then one duck has 2, so total 14 legs, and 4 animals

4+4+4= 12+2=14

So 3 dogs and 1 duck :)
