The community-based rehabilitation studies or program is a strategy endorsed and initiated by the world health organization or WHO. It is also known as the CBR program that is a general community development program for the equalization of opportunities, rehabilitation, and social integration of PWD or disabilities with their families, and communities and including various local resources to support the program.

It helps them to attain their health at their highest level. It focuses mainly on five aspects that are - health promotion, prevention, medical care, rehabilitation, and assistive devices.
