Perseus set out to get Medusa's head, determined to keep up his end of the bargain and to keep his mother safe. Since he was the son of Zeus, though, he wouldn't be alone. While Zeus had no particular involvement in Perseus' life, it didn't mean that the gods weren't aware of the young man
