of the course are male?

Total Number of males = x

Total Number of females = 6x

Total Number of Students = 6x + x = 7x

Now, we have to find the what fraction of the course females candidates constitute.

Female Fraction = Total Females : Total Students

Female Fraction = 6 / 7
