If I have an 86% overall grade in a class and score 40% on a test, what will my grade come out as?

It really depends on how much percent of your overall grade tests count as. But, usually they count for about 60% of your grade (depending on what grade you are in). You have about 65% at the lowest and a 75% at the highest. But, I'm just going by what my school does, I don't know how your school grades tests.
