Answer: 1.)The gastric juice

2.) The acidic gastric

Explaining: The hydrochloric acid in the gastric juice breaks down the food and the digestive enzymes split up the proteins. The acidic gastric juice also kills bacteria. The mucus covers the stomach wall with a protective coating.

One to break down the. Food more bc acid is so strong it can’t digest fully if it’s just ur mouth breaking it down and the other one is to I have no idea but good luck
