If you look carefully at the words sleepy and tired you see sleep in sleepy so here's my question

If your sleepy you want to sleep and if your tired you want to be lazy right? SO would that mean those 2 words are different sleep for sleepy tired for lazy. Is sleepy and tired really related words?

I think it can def mean 2 diff things tired can mean your just tired physically and emotionally where as sleepy usually just means your read to take a nap and go to bed
