in my opinion i would say that while yes, an education does in a sense "level the playing field" for the poc community it also doesn't. why? because poc specifically african americans, have been oppressed for hundreds of years and unfortunately a degree doesn't change that. you could be someone with a harvard degree and still be denied a job because of something as simple as the color of your skin.
