How does a crab move, and why?

Answer: Crabs walk sideways because their legs only bend in that direction. muscles also work in pairs. One of these muscles simply pulls on the leg, and is dependent on the activation of another antagonistic muscle to regrow. In addition, this walking style can be related to the density of the water.
