p(-5) = (-5)³ - 6(-5)² - 7(-5) + 60

p(-5) = -125 - 6(25) - (-35) + 60

p(-5) = -125 - 150 + 35 + 60

p(-5) = -275 + 95

p (-5) = -180

so is x + 5 a factor of polynomial ( NO) because when make a substitution by -5 the answer will not be 0
