What did the religious landscape of the pre-Revolution colonies look like? Was there only one religious denomination, or were there many? Which sects were most popular and most powerful?

The Church of England was prevalent. Though most people left England to leave the church. Most were Puritans and they built home like churches. They weren’t very special since they didn’t have a lot of money to make it special though it helped the colonist to have God others were sick.
