Was there ever a time when you attempted to "walk in someone else's shoes”?

Did it make you more sympathetic or understanding toward him or her? Did you
better understand his or her point of view?

Well I did attempt to walk in someone else's shoes, It made me both, more sympathetic, and I could better understand them, but i'm not saying I know what they have been through fully. Seeing a viewing point from someone else's stand point lets your mind open to more possibilities.
