Using the Pythagorean theorem:

47 ^2 = 11^2 + x^2

2209 = 121 + x^2

Subtract 131 from both sides

2088 = x^2

Take the square root of both sides

X = sqrt(2088)

Simplify

X = 6sqrt(58)
