The measure of the angle is 44 degrees

To determine the angle, we have to use the rule of SOHCAHTOA, that is following the ratio of the different trigonometric identities, we have that the identities are;

  • sine
  • cosine
  • tangent
  • cotangent
  • secant
  • cosecant

So, we have that;

tan X = 48/50

Divide the values, we get;

tan X = 0.96

find the inverse tangent

X = 43. 8 degrees
