Answer: 3

1. Replace values (from letters to numbers):

Z + X * Y =

2(4)/(5) + (3)/(5) * (1)/(3)

2. Change
2(4)/(5), into improper fraction (by multiplying number before fraction by denominator and adding value of numerator, and that’s how we get numerator in improper form, and denominator stays the same):

3. Do multiplication (because multiplication is before addition in pemdas, etc.):

4. Get fractions to same denominator (by multiplying one or two numbers, by number, which gives value of denominator of bigger number):


image. So the value of expression is equal to 3.
