x ∈ R

==========

Given inequality:

  • ||2x + 1| + 2| > 1

First, according to property of an absolute value, its value is zero or positive.

It means the value of |2x + 1| is not negative and when 2 is added the value of left side of inequality is always greater than 2:

  • |2x + 1| + 2 > 2

Therefore the left side is always greater than 1, which means x can get any real value, so the answer is:

  • x ∈ R
