You will use Percent Error formula below;

Percent Error = ((Estimated value-Actual value)/Actual value) * 100%

Percent Error = ((300-311)/311) * 100%

Percent Error = (-11/311) * 100%

Answer is 3.54%

Round to the nearest tenth percent = 3.5%
