Answer: 9^8 / 9^4 = 9^4

Step-by-step explanation:
When dividing anything to a power all you have to do is subtract the exponents

One way you could do to is by simply looking at your exponents and subtracting them as if it was a subtraction equation (so take 8 and 4 and subtract them) “8 - 4 = 4” then just add the new number back to the base (which is 9) so your answer would be 9^4

Another way you could do this by literally writing the whole thing out for example:
9 • 9 • 9 • 9 • 9 • 9 • 9 • 9 /
9 • 9 • 9 • 9

This will lead you to the same answer (9^4) but just in a different way all you do is look at the ones you could cancel out (ones right on top of each other) that would leave 4 9’s left. So your answer would be the same so the answer is 9^4
