When including a time frame that started in the current year, how is it written?

Is it (2023-current)?

Or is it written another way?

Answer:

You could use 2023-current but if you use 2023-current it can confuse people because they might not know what the current time is. (if you wrote something in 2021 and used that the reader might think 2023 is the current time but the current time for you was 2021) so I would just say 2023-2023 to be safe.
