In the 1970s, due to world events, there as a gasoline shortage in the United States. There were often long lines of cars waiting at gas stations. If there were a million cars in line, bumper to bumper, with average length of 10.69 feet, how long would that line be in feet and miles?

10.69 x 1 million= 10,690,000 feet

= 2024 miles and 3,279.999888

Round it to 2024 miles and 3,280 feet
