Santiago recently started working at his first job. He has already earned $400 and will continue to earn at a rate of $250 per week. He is spending some of his money on a gym membership. The membership costs $15 per week and has a one-time enrollment fee of $50. The rest of the money he earns is going into a savings account for college.

Since there is no question, I’m assuming that you’re trying to find the formula for this.
You need to add the amount in his savings, $400, to the amount of money he makes every week, $250, subtracted by the $15 cost of his gym membership all multiplied by the amount of weeks he works, x, then subtract $50 for the one-time enrollment fee for the gym membership.
400+[x(250-15)]-50
