2 places after the decimal point is called the hundreths, and one is the tenths. When rounding if the number after the place you are trying to round to is 5-9 then you change the number by adding 1, if it’s 0-4 you keep the number the same. After you do that you get rid of the numbers after it.

For example:

Round 5.367 to the nearest tenths

The tenths place is one spot to the right of the decimal point which would be 3. And since the number after it is 6 you add 1 to 3.

So the answer would be 5.4
