Answer:

Explanation:

He will not need more than 1 gallon of paint. 10*12 = 120 ft^2

This means that he has 40ft^2 of paint left over in the gallon because it is capable of covering 160ft^2.

Answer :

  • No

Given :

  • Height : 10ft
  • Width : 12ft
  • Total paint : 160ft^2

To find :

  • If the paint available is suffice or not

Solution :

Firstly, we'll find the area that needs to be painted.

for that,we are required to know the area of a rectangle which is height times width

  • Area = 10ft x 12ft
  • Area = 120ft^2

Since , the total amount of paint available can paint 160ft^2 which can paint 40ft^2 more area than the required 120ft^2 area of the wall , Brandon won't be needing more than one gallon of the paint .
