Explanation:

You were told to find angle ABC.

Angle ABC is the angle that goes from point A, to point B, to Point C

If you notice, there’s two angles measures that are given to you in the diagram. As in, you know that the angle measure are 40 degrees and 30 degrees because they actually show those numbers.

Both of those angles are inside of angle ABC, and in fact, they make up all of angle ABC.

So, their the measures, when added together, are equal to the measure of Angle ABC

40 + 30 = 70,

so Angle Measure of ABC equals 70.

Since you’re writing out an angle measure in this format, I doubt a degree symbol is necessary.
