Answer:

For left graph:

k =
(3)/(2) or 1.5

? = 12

For right graph:

k =
(4)/(3) or 1.3333...

? = 24

Explanation:

Firstly, assuming this problem is proportional, we just need to divide one row of y by x. In case you have forgotten, the equation for constant of proportionality is:

k = (y)/(x)

Now, just dividing the first y by the first x leaves us with 1.5. So we have solved every box in the k column, or constant of proportionality column. However, to find the question mark, we must make a proportion equation.

(3)/(2) = (18)/(?)

Simply solve the equation and we get ? = 12.

Same thing for the other graph, we get 1.3333... from the first row and put that value in the k column. We solve for the ? the same way:

(4)/(3) =(?)/(18)

Solve it and we get ? = 24.

Not entirely sure about that fact family thing, I'm guessing it's talking about the proportion equations. If that's the case, then the fact families would be 3 2, and 1.5 and 4, 3 and 1.3333...
