26°; 54°; 48°; 39°; 22°

===================

What is a complementary angle?

If two angles add up to form a right angle, then these angles are referred to as complementary angles.

Find the missing angle

Given one of the complements, Angle A. Find the other complement, Angle B:

  • A + B = 90°
  • B = 90° - A

Substitute for each value of A:

  • 90° - 64° = 26°
  • 90° - 36° = 54°
  • 90° - 42° = 48°
  • 90° - 51° = 39°
  • 90° - 68° = 22°
