taking X common and cutting ab from denominator

we get ,

x(a² - b²) = (a+b)(a+b)

now we know that

(a² - b²) = (a+b)(a-b)

x{(a+b)(a-b)} = (a+b)(a+b)

now cutting a+b from both sides

we get ,

x (a - b) = (a+b)

from here,

x = (a+b)/(a-b)
