For the first one he bought 50 pencils and sold each for $3.25 so you will multiply those to find out how much he will get in total, which will give you $162.50 to figure out how much he profited you will subtract the amount he will get for the pencils and the amount he bought them for which was $120.00 this will give you $42.50 so he made a profit of $42.50
