A skier is trying to decide whether or not to buy a season ski pass. A daily pass costs $79. A season ski pass costs $350. The skier would have to rent skis with either pass for $25 per day. How many days would the skier have to go skiing in order to make the season pass less expensive than the daily passes?

Answer:

per day with the daily plan: 79+25=$104

per day with the season pass: $25 we add the price of the pass only once

x= the number of days

104x>25x+350

104x-25x>350

79x>350

x>350/79=4.43..=4days

from 5 days the most interesting season pass

5 days

seasonal package= 104*5=$520

season pass = 5*25+350=$475
