Three fifths of the bakers 60 cookies were chocolate cookies. How many of the baker cookies were chocolate? What percent of the bakers cookies were not chocolate?

3/5 x 60 = 180/5 = 36 cookies were chocolate.

60-36 = 24 cookies were not chocolate.
24/60 = 0.40

Multiply by 100 to convert decimal to percentage = 40% of the cookies were not chocolate.
