Answer: {6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13}

Step-by-step explanation

Roster form is where we list each number in the set. If the set is really large, then use triple dot notation to indicate "the pattern continues".

For instance {2,4,6,8,...,100} describes the set of even numbers from 2 to 100, including both endpoints.

Luckily, the answer shown above is a small enough roster set that we don't need to use the dots. Simply list the whole numbers between 5 and 14, but we exclude those endpoints because there is no "or equal to" as part of the inequality signs in 5 < x < 14. Put another way: list the numbers from 6 to 13 inclusive.
