If the sum two angles is 180° and the non-common arms of the two angles form a straight line then the two angles are called liner pair.

3x + 10 + 2x - 30 = 180°

3x + 2x + 10 -30 = 180°

Combine like terms,

5x - 20 = 180°

Add 20 to both sides,

5x = 180 + 20

5x = 200°

Divide both sides by 5,

x = 200 ÷ 5

x = 40°

3x + 10 = 3*40 + 10

= 120 + 10

= 130°

2x - 30 = 2*40 - 30

= 80 - 30

= 50°

Answer: The angles are 130° and 50°
