When drivers are operating under Emergency Special Working (ESW), they may not proceed at the normal ESW speed and must instead proceed at caution Additionally, when passing a signal at danger or an end of authority (EoA) without a movement authority (MA), drivers must proceed at caution, even if the line appears to be clear. They must not pass over any points, switch diamonds, or swing-nose crossings at more than 15 mph These are the occasions when drivers must proceed at caution instead of the normal ESW speed.
