The sum of three numbers is 135. The second number is 9 less than the first. The third number is 4 times the first. What are the numbers?

135=x+(x-9)+4x is an equation that represents this and you can simplify this to 6x-9=135 next you would add 9to each side and get 6x=144 finally you can divide by six and get x=24 so that means that 24 is the first number 15 is the second and 96 is the third
