chair mass = 3x/7

mass of chair +Tom = 2/3 mass of the table

⇒Tom+3x/7 = 2x/3

⇒Tom = 2x/3-3x/7

⇒Tom = (14x-9x)/21 = 5x/21

⇒the mass of Tom represents 5/21 of the mass of the table
