In the coordinate plane, the point A (-1, 4) is translated to the point A’ (-4,0). Under the same translation, the points B(-4,1) and C(3,7) are translated to B’ and C’, respectively. What are the coordinates of B’ and C’?

Answer:

B'(-7,-3) C'(0,3)

Explanation:

Looking at the translation between A and A', we can see that A it translated 3 units to the left and 4 units down. So for B and C, we subtract 3 from the x value and 4 from the y value.
