First, we solve any operations inside of parentheses or brackets. Second, we solve any exponents. Third, we solve all multiplication and division from left to right. Fourth, we solve all addition and subtraction from left to right.
so in order to solve this, we gotta start with PEMDAS, so we start with P (anything in the parentheses). You would start left to right so you would do 5-3 which is 2. then you would add 6, which is 8. The final answer overall is 6 x 8 = 48
