The radius of track will be equal to 31.83 ft.
It is given that we need circumference of track to be 200 feet.
We have to calculate the radius of the track.
What do you mean by circumference of a circle ?
The circumference of a circle is the total length of the arc of a circle. It is given by
C = 2mr where, r is the radius.
As per the question;
We need to have a circumference of 200 feet.
So,
Circumference = 200 = 2r
200 = 2пг
or
r = 200 ÷ 2п
r = 31.83 feet
Thus, the radius of the track will be
31.83 feet.
