y = 10-6x and y = x^2 - 3x + 10

sub in values of y:

10 - 6x = x^2 - 3x + 10

re-arrange to write in terms of quadratic formula:

x^2 - 3x + 6x + 10 - 10 = 0

x^2 + 3x + 0 = 0
