-34

Given :

  • 14 = (6 + z)/( - 2) \\

To find :

  • The value of z

Solution :

Using the property of equality which states that if two values are equal, they can replace each other,

  • 14 = (6 + z)/( - 2) \\

  • 14 * - 2=6 + z \\

  • - 28 = 6 + z

  • z = - 28 - 6

  • z = - 34

Hence, the value of z would be equal to -34.
