Take one of the sides from each shape (they have to be corresponding) so say you take side AB on one of the shapes the length is 6 and on the other shape the length is 3. Put the number of the smaller shape on the top of the fraction and the number of the larger shape on the bottom of the fraction. So it would be 3/6 then just simplify and the answer should be 1/2
