Explanation: By law, in most federal courts, journalists are loosely protected by 1st amendment to protect their sources but many times, under special mitigating circumstances, a journalist may be forced legally to give that source up. In my opinion, I would not use this source at all because there is "backstabbing" and disloyalty on the part of the company executive. This could lead to reprisal towards the journalist and a big mess would ensue. The company exec issued a personal reaction that was biased and emotionally charged, therefore, not credible.
