Answer:

  • Indefinite articles / determiners is the use of a & an along with singular countable nouns.
  • We use it when we sre not really sure about the identity of the object we are talking about.

For example,

I saw a ball.

Here, the person could be talking about any ball whereas if we use a definite article like the it'd become a specific object.
