Answer: Yes it does work for semi circles!

Explanation:

Area of Semicircle = 1 8 π D 2 And so the area of each semicircle is: A = 1 8 π a 2 B = 1 8 π b 2 C = 1 8 π c 2. Does Area of Semicircle = 1 8 π D 2 And so the area of each semicircle is: A = 1 8 π a 2 B = 1 8 π b 2 C = 1 8 π c 2 so yes it does work
