a) Speed: Our grandparents had to wait days or even weeks for letters to arrive, but we can now communicate with people all around the world instantly through text messages, emails and video calls.

b) Reach: Our grandparents could only communicate with those who were geographically close to them, but now we can communicate with anyone in the world with the internet.

c) Depth: Our grandparents could only communicate through written words, but now we can communicate through text, images, audio and video. This allows us to share more information and express ourselves better.

d) Frequency: Our grandparents might have communicated with their friends and family only a few times a week, but we can now communicate with them everytime we want.
