for example, if your ratio is 5:7, that is the simplest integer ratio you will come up with.

BUT you can make is less simple by multiplying it by any number: 2, 3, 4, etc.

5:7 is an equivilant ratio to 10:14 and 20:28.

You can also make an equivilant ratio by dividing them by any number.
