The length of a rectangle is 4 times its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 100 inches, find its length and width

X - Width
4x - Length

2(4x+x) = 100
8x+2x = 100
10x = 100 |:10
x = 10

So that means, width is 10 inches, and length is 40 inches.

Proof:
40+40+10+10 = 100 inches
