I keep having these dreams of an old friend I had when I was in junior high

We ended things badly, it's pretty awkward now between us.
She was a friend I had for a long time, since kindergarten... but we clashed as we got older
I'm more mature, she's not
Anyway

Why do I keep having dreams about me in junior high, with her, and we're friends again

Then I have "dream-confusion"
Where I feel as if we're friends again in real life, but we're not?
