Thomas Jefferson was a nobleman born in Albemarle Country, Virginia, in 1743. He studied at the College of William, and then read law. He was the third president of the United States of America, and one of our country's founding fathers. He expanded America by buying a huge amount of land from Napolean, known as the Louisiana Purchase. He advocated for ablition despite once being a slave owner, and also significantly aided in the creation of the US Constitution. Famously known for writing the Declaration of Independence, he was an intelligent leader who supported the country with all his might.
