A dentists office radiograph produces X-rays with a wavelength of 2.10x10-11 m. What is the frequency of the X-rays in Hz (s-1)? Use the speed of light as c=299792458 m/s exactly. Enter values in scientific notation using the 'E' as your calculator will. So, the wavelength would be written 2.10E-11 m. The speed of light would be written 2.99792458E8 m/s. Do NOT put a space between the decimal number, 'E', or the exponent.

Step-by-step explanation:

For electromagnetic radiation

c = wavelength * frequency re-arrange to :

c/ wavelength = frequency

2.99792458E8 / 2.10E-11 = 1.42758313E19

or 1.43E19 using Significant Digit rules
